MAY 13 - SEPTEMBER 5
“Emotional Extractions - Images of Disappearance is an exhibition exploring the profound impact of loss and how memories evolve over time. Through this journey, the transient nature of emotion is revealed as memories shift, reshape, and fade”.
The project marks the first solo exhibition at an institution by Duarte Perry (based in Zurich), titled Emotional Extractions- Images of Disappearance, curated by Julian Denzler, curator at the Museum zu Allerheiligen, Schaffhausen.
Held at the Centre Culturel Portugais - Camões in Luxembourg from May 13 to September 15, 2025, the show will feature unseen photographic works. The exhibition has also been selected to be part of EMOPLUX, a leading international photography festival, curated by Paul di Felici.
The project is generously supported by Instituto Camões and Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
